Taxation

What a broad subject, where do we begin?

First of all, our firm’s primary focus is on micro and small businesses and their owners.

For our firm, a micro business is a business with average receipts of less than 2.75 million with 25 or fewer employees and a small business has average receipts of less than 10 million with 100 or fewer employees.

Chances are if you reading this you fall into one of the above two categories.

We attempt to maximize the legitimate tax savings available to a business owner and their company. Keep in mind, our primary goal is for you to make as much money as possible and after you make that money, we want you to keep as much as possible.

In order for this to happen, you must have a good set of accounting records and we have to be looking out of the windshield and not the rear view mirror.

Doesn’t that make sense?

In other words, we do not perform year end only engagements, (rear view mirror type work) we only accept a client if we can assist on a monthly basis (and look out the windshield).

The taxes which affect a business the most are:

  • Income Tax
  • Social Security Tax
  • Sales Tax
  • Tangible Personal Property Tax and
  • Real Estate Tax

Most businesses and their owners have a SIMILAR but UNIQUE tax circumstance. We attempt to gain an understanding of each of our client’s UNIQUE situation and use our knowledge and experience gained over the years from SIMILAR circumstances to minimize their tax burden.
